Demons
-Shaddowdove
For years and years angels have been the guardians of humanity, watching, waiting and protecting them from everything that could harm them. But angels, despite being divine beings are just like every other creature in existence as the forces of good and evil can influence them. In one case in a time long passed an angel was influenced by evil and resulted in the creation of an evil so great it condemned countless humans to the evil tortures of hell itself…
Summer giggled and hid behind a large multitude of fluffy could, occasionally peeking out from behind it just in case her brother, Thom, came close to her hiding spot. Despite being younger than her brother, Summer had shown much more natural talent than her brother who was by angel standards very good.
“Found you!” Thom declared suddenly appearing behind her. The truth was that Summer had known that he was there all along but played along because she had been warned many times not to show off in front of Thom by her mother.
“Ok ok! I give up!” She told Thom smiling.
Suddenly Thom stopped smiling and said seriously, “Summer… I…”
Summer’s eyes went wide, knowing that what her brother was going to say next was incredibly important. “What is it Thom?”
”I’ve lost something important and I can’t find it. I need your help.” Thom bit his lip looking sad.
“Sure of course!” said Summer grasping her brother’s shoulders. She loved her brother with all her heart and genuinely wanted to help him despite whatever he asked of her.
“I lost dad’s birthday present when I was flying near the Barrier yesterday with my friends…” Thom trailed off both embarrassed and worried about what he was explaining to his sister.
“The Barrier? Seriously? I thought that they posted guards to stop anyone going near it?!” Summer asked suspiciously.
“Umm actually we found a way around the guards. We just wanted to see it and find out what was so bad about it. But I can’t go and look for it myself I have classes in 20 minutes.” Thom looked utterly miserable at his folly. Summer shook her head in amazement but agreed to go and look for the missing present, after all she did have the afternoon off from classes whereas Thom didn’t because he was in classes. Thom’s serious face broke into a smile as he grabbed her hands and forced her into a clumsy twirly dance punctuated by their gales of laughter. Never once did Summer wonder why her brother was playing hind-amongst-the-clouds rather than search for the missing present.
